Raven's App

His name emerging from seemingly nowhere about 4 years ago, this young man made himself known as a famous pokemon hunter in those past few years. He's known to undertake dangerous job involving catching or subduing pokemon, either for organizations like Pokemon Centers, Silph Co. or sometimes shadier employers at times. All that can bring him to experience that blood rushing feeling of excitement brought around danger, as he says. Contacted by Sycamore since his presence in the Kalos region was known, he made his way to Lumiose City. As they explained that they wanted to bring back Kalosian mons to Ohana, he was hired by Taz and Caleb to catch the mons in question. They then made their way to Ohana to release the mons in the wilderness, arriving around the time of Round 4.

Somewhat of a lonewolf and easily bored, he seeks excitement in dangerous situations. For some reason, he can sometimes be found staring at certain people and smiling slightly at them if they notice him before walking away. Although he may looks severe, he is dependable and will come through for anyone he considers as a friend. His instinct and senses have become acute to the point of being able to notice small changes in someone attitude thanks to his career which required him to always be on the lookout so he wouldn't get killed on the job. Speaking of the job, he usually go CC against his targets and get quite rarely badly injured after those encounters.

- While usually hidden by his jacket nowaday, he actually has an absol tattoo on his left arm.

- He always wear a deep-blue scarf around his neck.

A huge specimen amongst the Absol species (4'0" at the shoulder, while most Absol get to about 3'0" at the shoulder), Joshua have been Raven's partner since he was a kid. Like Raven, he's a hunter to the very core and wouldn't easily back off from a fight, unless there was really no chance to win. He has fought his lot of tough battles, as demonstrated by his scars, and knows how to deal with most battle situations. 

Very loyal to his partner, he'd never abandon him in a pinch. While he may look scary and all, he does have a soft spot for kids and is very caring of them. His size is large enough to allow him to easily carry an adult over a long distance.

Note : Following bulbapedia's standards, an Absol is generally 3'11" for reference. This would make Joshua about 5'0" with their same standards.

Sacred Sword - Iron Head - Fury Cutter - Protect

In his "business trip" to Kalos, Raven met this blade while pursuing one of his targets. The pokemon fled into an armory left around from old times and raised a ruckus inside, knocking over most armors and weapons stored inside. It was there that the hunter met the sword, who asked to followed him wherever he'd go.

Apparently, it seemed that Ragnell liked the taste of Raven's soul and decided to come along to get the chance to taste it again every so often. Thanks to him sharing his life force with her, she quickly became close to him and now she's become like an extension of himself when they fight together. She can be a bit of a jealous blade and usually stay close to him. Her scabbard is attached on Raven's back topside down, under his jacket.
