BFOI - Daven Kohen - Ranger Union Representative

Needing a fast mount to go all the way around the islands and considering the exceptional conditions, Daven has been given Rufus on loan by Taz. He'll be staying with him until the end of the blizzard, no matter what.

Daven is living in the Squirtle Bay Headquarters while he's on the Ohana Islands. However, his duties carry him all over the islands so you can expect to see him a bit everywhere.

Daven history
Daven's pride for working as a Top Ranger, as well as great sense of honesty makes him a trustworthy man for much anything. This makes him an ideal choice for a great deal of situations, since he won't give up on a mission unless it entails real danger for people and pokemon alike. He tends to be outgoing straightforward, which might sometime harm the pride and whatnot of whomever is interacting with him. However, following the clash of the weather trio during year 1 of the BFOI, he settled down quite a bit and now deal with the situation much more calmly, which somewhat improved the odds of success of his missions. Hailing from the town of Ringtown in the western wooden region of Fiore, Daven has been brought up as a ranger of some talent.Not much is known of him until the time he joined with the Ranger Union.

BFOI 2011~2012
Daven has been sent in by the Ranger Union after the eruption of Mt Kila and arrived in the middle of the cataclysmic battle between Kyogre and Groudon. As the situation seemed to be mostly in control of the trainers, the ranger dealt with the mass outbreak of wild and enraged pokemon so to avoid more damage to Hero City. Much of his time afterward was spent to help people take shelter and helping the staff take care of the refugees;

BFOI 2012~2013
Since the event of BFOI 2011-12, Daven has been assigned to the island as a Representative of the Ranger Union and to be Caleb's right hand should any situation that has the potential to degenerate to a catastrophe like the previous one arise. Since then, he's been monitoring the recovery of the Ohana islands and reporting the situation to the Union to make sure that nothing else happens to the ecosystem there. He's also the one to represent the Union when dealing with the Battle Frontier Commemorative Cup hosts, meaning the Frontier Initiative, Valkyrie Industries and G3.

Though Daven doesn't speak Pokemon, his Fine Styler has been fitted with a newly developed translating device that allow him to communicate with most of the common species of pokemon. A small chip is hidden behind his left ear that always keep a link to the Styler over a distance of 500 meters. As the device is still in development at the Ranger Union, only Top Rangers Stylers have had the translator installed, as a way of collecting data;

As the partner of Daven, Mila has always been with him as far as anybody know. Because of this, the female Absol became his partner as soon as the Ranger Union accepted him within the organisation. Her foreboding and Super Luck abilities proved useful more than just once in their career, often saving their hides by a hair's breadth.
